We focus on providing quick close bridge loans to seasoned real estate developers and financial companies who wish to acquire distressed real estate assets at significant discounts. On a very selective basis we also invest in existing projects to reposition distressed real estate assets via joint ventures with developers.
Gregory J. Stuman

Mr. Stuman is a Principal & Fund Manager of Gibraltar Capital Partners and is a 15 year real estate attorney and development executive. Mr. Stuman attended Willamette University where he received a B.S. in Economics. Mr. Stuman then graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor degree. Throughout his legal career Mr. Stuman has been involved in negotiating, documenting and closing real estate loans, real estate syndications, business acquisitions and management buy-outs with transactions in the $5 to $100 Million range. Mr. Stuman has worked on more than 50 large real estate and venture capital transactions with the total value of the deals exceeding $370 Million.
Mr. Stuman started his career in San Diego, California, in 1989 working as an attorney for a regional law firm working in the real estate, business, finance and securities fields. During the Southern California real estate downturn of the early 1990s Mr. Stuman represented national banks and private real estate investors in stabilizing problem real estate portfolios and in all aspects of creditor remedies. Mr. Stuman also worked extensively with repositioning RTC assets during this time for private investment groups. Mr. Stuman eventually founded Stuman & Associates in San Diego which focused on real estate transactions, private placements of capital under Regulation D, commercial lending transactions, entity structuring, and the purchase and sale of businesses, notable transaction include: organizing and negotiating contracts for a large telecom client with major Regional Bell Operating Companies resulting in revenues in excess of $100 Million per year; $12 Million private placement of capital for internet backbone provider; $80 Million management buyout and roll-out of regional restaurant chain in Florida; $20 Million management buyout and recapitalization of East Coast microbrewery chain. Mr. Stuman has also served as the CFO and General Counsel of Action Sports Trends which controlled athlete licensing in the action sports fields and as CFO and General Counsel of Sanderson Communities, Inc., a regional West Coast real estate development and homebuilding company with assets in excess of $100 Million.
Mr. Stuman resides in Bend, Oregon with his wife, Melissa and two children Ethan and Elise. Mr. Stuman serves on the board of the Tower Theatre Foundation, and enjoys skiing and mountain biking.
Tim C. Eppler

Mr. Eppler is a Principal & Director of Origination & Underwriting in Gibraltar Capital Partners and is a 20 year real estate investment banking veteran with over $1 Billion in transactions completed. Mr. Eppler was born and raised in Winnipeg, Canada and received his formal education at the University of Winnipeg. Upon graduation, Mr. Eppler moved Australia, where he played professional beach volleyball and also traveled throughout the South Pacific. Upon his return to Canada, Mr. Eppler migrated to Toronto, Canada and spent 12 years as a real estate investment banker, including 9 years with MCAP Financial, a large real estate investment group that focused on providing structured debt and equity financing to mid to large market developer / builders throughout Canada. During his tenure, MCAP grew to be the largest non-publicly traded financial institution in Canada, completing over $1 Billion in transactions annually. With MCAP, Mr. Eppler was actively involved in business development, deal structuring and underwriting, credit committee, asset management, portfolio securitization and syndications.
In 2000, Mr. Eppler left MCAP Financial and moved his family to Northern California, where he spent the next 4 years working as a senior executive focusing on helping turn around distressed companies. After successfully completing the repositioning and turnaround of 2 privately held companies, Mr. Eppler made the deliberate decision to return to his real estate investment banking roots, where he spent the next 18 months working with 2 national real estate investment banking firms.
Mr. Eppler is also the founder and CEO of Pinnacle Realty Capital, which provides comprehensive capital markets advisory services to the mid to large market developer / builder community on both debt and equity transactions. In the past 12 months, Pinnacle Realty Capital has structured and completed over $120 Million in transactions.
Mr. Eppler has a BBA (honors) from the University of Winnipeg in Winnipeg, Canada and is a graduate of the Execute Management Program from the Schulich School of Business (York University) in Toronto, Canada.
Mr. Eppler lives in Northern California with his wife of 13 years, Beth, and their 3 young children, Alyssa, Bryce, and Natalie.
Peter M. Menefee

Peter Menefee is a Principal & Director of Investor Relations for Gibraltar Capital Partners. Peter has 19 years of real estate experience having been involved in commercial real estate brokerage and development activities consisting of industrial, mixed use, hospitality and shopping centers in Oregon and Southern California.
Peter attended Marymount College in Southern California and is a Graduate of the Real Estate Development Program, Harvard Graduate School, and Real Estate Development Program, MIT.
Peter’s recent involvement in development projects include an approved 300,000 square foot condominium / hotel in Bend, Oregon, and a 10,000 square foot mixed use building in Bend, Oregon. Peter was most recently the owner and operator of Menefee & Associates, LLC a commercial real estate brokerage which employed more than 9 real estate brokers and brokered development deals worth more than $75 Million.
From 1996 through 2000, Peter was the Vice President of Real Estate Acquisitions for Wilshire Real Estate Investment Trust, a $200,000,000 REIT located in Portland, Oregon. While with Wilshire, Peter, oversaw all commercial real estate acquisitions, created a West Coast retail, industrial, and office portfolio of more than $100 million; purchased and managed commercial real estate; performed market and location analysis; located potential sites and building; carried out due diligence for all sales, purchases, and negotiations; managed all closings and contract negotiations; supervised and trained a team of analysts; and directed IPO activities involved with company going public.
Peter is a 4th generation native Oregonian with deep business roots in real estate development and timber. Peter resides in Bend, Oregon with his wife and children. Peter is a former professional windsurfer who still enjoys sailing, mountain biking and skiing. He is also an avid flyfisherman and upland birdhunter.
